'The Lek'
These elegant giclée prints of two black grouse fighting are all hand signed by Katie and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
A 'Lek' is an area in which male birds gather to display to the females and fight off the competition. For black grouse, this usually occurs in April/May.
What I love about this piece, is how the snow is flung up around the birds, giving a great sense of movement and energy.
